This “universal” remote control does not work with general Co. door. Buyer Beware!

I have bought two garage door opener in my house, a new Chamberlain Belt Drive, we are a couple of months, and an old LiftMaster chain of transmission, that it was as if the house was built. We typically use the garage door with new opener, but had two remote controls in each car, when I open the garage door, others have. What a pain! We bought this remote to solve the problem, and did it! The remote was fairly easy to program
for the two openers. Well, my wife and I have only carry on these Clicker “,” instead of two different remote controls on the visor. Great product and easy!

I CLT1 to three years, which is very good for my door and my garage door. However, the CLT1D has dropped support for multi-code controller. So my CLT1D will not open my door. I’m back. More attention, there is no warning of non-support in the documents CLT1D. It is for you the difference between the instructions of your new address and your old controller notice. The information on the company’s website is a pdf of the CLT1 statements indicating support for multi-code. I guess they can not manage five minutes work would it take to put the updated PDF file. Determining what a waste of time frustrating me. Frankly, it is very rare, a newer version of an electronic device to less than the predecessor model.
And telephone support is an unnecessary duplication of printed instructions.

I now have 3 of these remotes. They are durable and easy to program. The battery life was really good (more than one year on a battery and still very good!) I like the fact that I have the option of two garage doors on a remote schedule. For those with a garage door opener, the program both at the same settings and it will not matter, press the button you are! to go in relation to the replacement remote controls, this is a wonderful low-cost option. This is not compatible with all garage door opener. Not only those in the manual (which I read before ordering), but also “Overhead Door” (often brand are detailed), which was brought to my attention after the service calls from customers and after an hour of aggravation!
