Replaces the worn geardrive opens in a Craftsman 1/2HP 12 years old. Took about 45 minutes. Hardest part was the removal of old pin operating equipment to the tree. I have not changed the worm on the motor, so it seemed OK. Door now works fine.

My garage door could not open. Having discovered the lid, cut me a gear with straight no teeth. The worm looked perfect. I ordered the device and put it in the first game and is quiet and as new. If your worm looks good buy only to save only the right equipment and money. They are so cheap, I bought one to use it next time
