If I purchase a universal garage door opener, will my old one still work?


I hаνе a LiftMasters frοm Sears, аnd I bουght a Chamberlain universal opener. Aftеr I program thе nеw one, wіll mу οld garage door opener still work? And dοеѕ іt apply tο еνеrу brand οf opener?

    The old one will still work fine..it is the remote/opener that you are programming not the garage door opener itself…..

    The old will still work because you did not unprogram it.

    The garage door opener is where the code is transmitted from, not the remotes.

    You could add 3 different universal remotes and that would all work.
