If your door can be controlled with a switch closure – and most are – you’re in business. Easy to configure and install. The second button on the remote control can be implemented to a minor or a second door (can be controlled with additional hardware). The remote has a battery A23 sell unusual – but both Amazon and Wal-Mart for less than a dollar, so no problem.

I bought the Skylink 318TR Garage Door Remote Control 3 October 2009. This was only the product, I was looking for. I have an old Stanley opens Secure Code, for which I could not able to find a replacement remote control, work was found. The first game was installed by a previous owner, and they would not let me work remotely. Winter was approaching and I wanted to have a remote workstation before making the snow of the season and my wife happy.
Skylink installation was as simple as possible. Simply drag the opener on the engine, the son of control of the Skylink button in series (with the son of the original order) and plug into the socket of the Skylink. Connect the power to the motor and it worked perfectly.
The problem I had was during installation, will open the trip with displacement sensors in the original installation Stanley. It had nothing to do with Skylink. Displacement trip, I bought the house does not work. Therefore requires the button to be depressed over the cable door downturn. What I have found is that the owner was incorrectly wired sensors trip. My point is that in order to function properly Skylink is the command button control up / down with one touch.
The wired remote control and receiver seems well built. The receiver is 2-pin (excluding agriculture) and is large enough. If it is on a power strip to cover most other containers would be used. The 12-inch flexible antenna is permanently attached. The control line is about 12 feet long. Therefore, the distance between the outlet or extension is about 10 meters will be necessary. The remote control is small and very practical. I hope that the manufacturer includes a visor clip. The remote works from about 75 yards away and I have not tested another route.

At first I was when I saw this product on Amazon skeptical, but decided to take a chance, because the work opens well and I would only add that my wife was able to remote control to park in the garage without the car. This is a great product! It has to install me less than 15 minutes and it works perfectly. Feel free to add one of these old, if your remote system is dead.

I bought this in December 2008 and is one of the few products that simply works exactly as it should be reliable, every time. Its easy to install, it never fails to work properly, and the remote control works much further than our Honda Homelink or changes the original remote control supplied with the old door opener. The other interesting thing is that if you move, simply remove and take it with him and install it in the new house, and there is no need to reprogram your Home link.
