We bought two of these plus Smart Button and wireless keyboard. They were all extremely easy to install and continues to function properly. Note that there is a delay of half a second after the remote control as the CPU Smart Button press decode the encrypted signal. So, do not press twice, or a door begins to open and close on your second print. The worst thing for me to manage the bits and pieces was not Skylink above, but Disabling the receiver in my old garage door. Make sure you do not disable it, or move the bad guys you can create new Skylink high security by simply Scanning your old code 1990 receiver DIP switch. Assuming that you disable your existing circuit remote receiver, this solution is surprisingly inexpensive way to add encryption to your door or existing modern garage door.Rating: 5.5

This remote works great. It replaced the garage door and everything is easy to configure and use.

The problem with Skylink is its incredibly confusing and frustrating array or remote controls and receivers. You have at least 2-3 families of these two receivers and remotes that look identical, but none of them work with them. None of the receiver models have used a model number visible when you lost your instructions or box, you never know what you really have. . . and you will probably end up buying the wrong remote control that will not work with her. It also finds that can be used in the instructions up to 15 remote controls, but not tell what type / model, must buy. If you buy the remote harm, they not let you return, they force you to buy another, or from a distance and get another similar (but different and not compatible) receivers for use with the remote control that you buy only .

Be very careful before reaching a remote control. . . its very confusing and very hard to make sure you buy the good. . .Rating: 5.2
